I've worked on two AAA MMO's, World of Warcraft and Wildstar. At Phoenix Labs where I worked on Dauntless and Fae Farm, as well as two canceled projects. I currently work for Gardens Interactive as an Art Outsource Manager. My career experiences have centered around creating stylized creatures and characters.
Senior character artist on Dauntless and two canceled games.
Lead character artist on Fae Farm.
I managed the character art team at Carbine. I gave feedback to our outsouce teams. I still created many assets during this time.
I was the first dedicated character artist hired at Carbine Studios. Our art director at the time, Brandon Idol, was also a character artist. I created many of our player characters and monsters. I also built weapons and armors. I had the pleasure of working with Cory Loftis, who is now a vis dev artist at Disney.
I started my career in games at Blizzard. First in tech support, then QA. In 2001 I joined the World of Warcraft team as a Texture Assistant working on dungeons and cities. I gradually shifted to building props as a 3D Artist. By the time I left Blizzard in 2001, I was working mainly as a character artist, creating character customization for the new expansion races, monsters, and raid armors.
